Details: BLOW returns to Egg for the second week of its new weekly residency with another jaw-dropping line up of talent.
Kicking off with the Basement headliner, a man who’s name is on everyone’s lips, French house producer and fresh from his tour of the US, Arno Cost. His “Magenta” smash landed in the middle of the international dance arena, and since then he’s never looked back. Joining him in the basement are the London-based DJ duo that need no introduction, Hoxton Whores, and completing that room are the talented BLOW residents, London legend Phil Drummond, Toolroom Record’s Mark Storie and the fresh Blow residents, Darryl Green and Neil Barratt
Over on the Terrace you will find pioneering Big Beat record label, Skint Records, home to Fatboy Slim, Midfield General, Lo Fidelity All Stars, Space Raiders and Indian Ropeman, and hosting their ‘Go Up To Get Down’ album launch party featuring Kidda and Midfield General. They are supported by BLOW resident, Mr Pixel
Up in the Loft, East London Hero, Buster Bennet continues his Monster Mash Up with DJ's NSG (DJ Hero) and Maximus Crown (SUPERSUPER Magazine), and be ready to be thrashed by a mental mash-up of Pop/Indie/Hip Hop/RnB/Bass/Electro/Nu-Disco and anything that takes their fancy!
In the Loft, its Fix Up Look Sharp! for Who's the hottest “Beauty & The Beast” of them all? With Prizes for super sexy vixens, and prizes for beastly brothers! Blow party people can also indulge in the Photobooth, where they can get snapped and papped'. And watch out for the Balloon Pop! Come the 13th Hour reach in the air for one massive balloon pop-athon, and concealed in one lucky balloon will be an extra special prize! Fun and frolics all the way till daylight comes...
Down in the Apothecary, Stun London showcase the buzzing underground Drum & Bass and DubStep sounds with their residents Macpherson, Matt Carpenter, Pacso, Reflex, Fuzion UK going deep, dark and deadly on the dex.
So 4 rooms of musical mayhem blowing up all night on a Funktion One sound system in pure mash up style, against a customised production set and some tearing visuals and special fx.
