The job of visiting venues across the UK can become a real joy and this visit to renaissance was no exception.

Some venues in London can be a little too much about who you are and packed with attitude however Renaissance is far from this. Packed with friendly clubbers who have one thing on their mind, and that's to enjoy them selves in glamorous surrounding that The Cross provides.

With a line-up packed with quality DJ talent from across the board, not just occasionally but on every monthly event it is easy to see why there is such a rush to gain entrance to this London event.

The Cross features three rooms (arches) playing quality sets from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Paul Jackson, Nigel Dawson and Do It Fluid. With stylish house music, feverish progressive house and funky house urging you to shake you booty its easy to see why this reviewer is counting the days down until he can grace one of the UK's top monthly events again.

Normally there is always one thing at an event that lets itself down and at Renaissance this could only be the sheer fact that the venue was crammed. When trying to move from one jumping arch way to another you would have that task of battling your way to another room just as packed as the last. However hard and cramped this task may be, there was no unnecessary pushing or bad temper just smiles and apologies. Throughout the night the attitude in the venue stayed calm, and no sign or bad temper under the heat and riling bodies.

Its easy to loose your friends in this venue due to the number within, however this is over come by the fact that the music is so good that you think "what the heck I'll stay here and shake my thing while I wait for them to find me"

In all if you had to make a quote to cover this event it would be something like this.
"Sexy, Stylish, Sassy a night not to be forgotten"

Get them danc'in shoes on and make your way to The Cross for Renaissance for their once monthly nights, last Saturday of each month.
