If you can picture a balmy May bank holiday evening at one of the world’s iconic locations, the River Thames in London, then add sun-kissed grooves and dirty beats into the mix, you’re on your way to visualising the Kinky Malinki & Elevada boat party.

London’s infamous traffic issues meant we arrived late on the Victoria Embankment, not the greatest start to an evening which promised so much. Having experience of Kinky Malinki, my sights were firmly set on a luxurious evening aboard the Golden Jubilee Luxury Party Boat. In reality the name was not quite as fitting as we had hoped for. Not one to be too put off, our
group jumped aboard and began to soak up the visual delights of the Thames by night.

The Golden Jubilee Luxury Party Boat has two main decks offering a small amount of seating and relaxation below with dance floor plus a large decking area above to enjoy the sites of the world’s best capital city. The crowd which generally packed the dance floor was younger than we had expected, but was nevertheless giving it ‘full steam ahead”. One of the nicer touches on-board was Kinky Malinki’s own professional photographer capturing the action and providing party goers a free snap shot of their evening.

All things considered, the passengers aboard the Golden Jubilee Luxury Party Boat got more than a good deal. The £25 boarding pass included the cruise plus VIP access to the after-party at Scala, featuring CJ Mackintosh, Mischa Daniels, Abigail Bailey and the much applauded Gordon Edge, (aka Trumpet Man).

Kinki Malinki has recently been making waves on more than just the Thames; with nights in Brighton and as far afield as Edinburgh plus further one-off events planned for this summer, things are looking good in the world of Kinky Malinki.
