Details: It’s that time of year again when leading house label Azuli Records, casts its predictions over the Miami Winter Music Conference, and pulls out the tunes most likely to see clubs rocking from now until Christmas - Azuli presents Miami 2007.
Out on 2nd April, Azuli Records unveils what it believes are the future hits of the most hotly anticipated event in the dance music calendar, the WMC. The event hosts back to back parties with each person keeping an ear on that ever so important sound track, asking - what are the tunes rocking Miami Beach?
Azuli presents Miami 2007 is a collection of tunes that make up the sound track to this one off event. It is the original and the longest running Miami series out there. The track list is so up to the minute that some tracks only make it onto the album a matter of days before it’s taken to be mastered, hence why you’ve only just received the promo!
Hot tracks on this album include the Boris D’lugosch remix of The Migrants ‘I Thought That’, Swen Weber’s ‘First Stroke’, and Gus Gus’s ‘Moss’, not to mention hot productions from Kamisshake, and DJ Disciple, ‘Changes’.
On compiling the album, Azuli’s David Piccioni commented “the Miami album is a high point in the Azuli calendar, we’ve being doing this since 1999, and it’s become immensely popular. It’s a real high point for us as doing this album is a great search for what will be the musical high points of the summer season, and what better place to hear those than in Miami!”.
