Details: Kinky Vinyl gets even filthier with its latest release, the unashamedly seedy ‘As Good As It Gets’ by Wonderland Avenue. While the husky male vocal whispers the refrain ‘long legs, filthy red lips, I want you wrapped around my hips’, the bassline bounces underneath, with lush synthetic surges, atmospheric digital noise and quirky roto-toms as the man behind the underground smash ‘White Horse’ delivers the goods yet again. This tune just is gagging to be dropped when the dancefloor needs that extra diversion from the safety of the ordinary!
Remix duties are delivered by Timo Garcia as well as Emjae and Jerome Robins, with Timo (hot off his massive releases on Cr2 and Toolroom) tackling the track head-on and turning it into a relentless stomping dancefloor classic. A dirtier bass and more percussion, along with a filthy filtered lead ensure this track will not be far away from many sets this summer, while Emjae and Jerome rub some funk on the groove with an obscenely funky bassline taking control of the track. This will please the house heads amongst you, and of course the ‘ladies’!
