Details: Dosed up on the mould breaking riffs of Jimi Hendrix, Audi’s design engineers spent 1999 creating the truly unique TT, a car that flew in the face of convention and went on to win them a truck-load of awards. Driven by inspiring music, the Audi team have taken the TT and reinterpreted it for a new generation. Defying convention once again, they have placed music at the heart of the process, engaging with rousing and cutting edge acts, encouraging them to take music that has inspired them and reinvigorate it, to create their own modern re-interpretations of classic, iconic music tracks.

Shifting the Remastered focus straight into fifth gear comes dance upstart Eddie Thoneick with a reworking destined for the dancefloor. Originally penned by supreme production outfit C+C Music Factory and released under their real names of Clivilles & Cole, ‘Deeper Love’, featuring vocals by long time collaborator Deborah Cooper, was a huge hit when it was released in 1991. The track was then covered by Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin in the hit film Sister Act 2; and released as the lead track promoting her "Greatest Hits (1980-1994)" collection. In an inspired move Clivilles & Cole were brought in to produce Aretha’s album version giving them two different hits with the same song in just 3 years.

Long-term resident of the infamous Decadence Penthouse Club, Eddie Thoneick has steadily built a reputation as one of Germany’s finest DJs and producers, with his legendary 3 CDJ sets gaining him world-wide renown. A series of top drawer remixes for the likes of Junior Jack, Soul Avengerz, David Guetta and De Souza confirmed his production prowess before his breakthrough hit - Eddie Thoeneick Vs Kurd Mavverick -‘Love Sensation’ – earned him the respect of House lumionaries Bob Sinclar, Robbie Rivera and Axwell, amongst many others. His cover of ‘Deeper Love’ sees him teaming up with Dutch diva Berget Lewis, adjusting the club classic for the modern palette. Huge pummeling bass and crushing beats underpin the track’s pop leanings as Berget makes good with her sensual delivery. Taking the track into tougher territory without losing the original’s soulful edge, Eddie Thoeneick has struck gold again.
