(Exodus/Check The Sound) the leviathan that is Specimen A rises up once more from the murk depths of High
Wycombe with two more dancefloor killers served up by their home camp Funkatech.
Dirty Disco is a straight up funked out breakbeat workout. No sir, we don’t want none of that sweaty mosh-pit chavcore
bashment nonsense here, just one phat grooving bassline, bouncy electro beats, vocoder melodies & some huge infectious
synth work from the oh-so-talented he-may-be-a-white-boy-but-boy-got-soul.. Phil Spec A aka The Doc (man’s a piano teacher ya dun know!). This track is pure good time fun on the dancefloor!
On the flip the lads drag you straight back down to the pit of hell from whence they came with the absolutely mother of
tearout monsters that is ‘Pop The Pin.’ If Dirty Disco wasn’t really dirty enough for you then hang on to the back of your
dodgems cos you’re in for a treat as that full on bassline assault that Spec A do like no other, is launched straight in yer
face. Haunting pads on the intro drop straight into some proper ‘ardcore 21st century nuskool tearout business with
stabbing basslines, oldskool synths & some clever edits. There’ll be no coming up for air as the waves of basslines crash
down on you with the all the force of an Andy C & Giant Haystacks lovechild. Make sure you’re not sitting down when
this drops, you have been warned!
