Details: Timbalestics make their Seamless Recordings debut in fine form with the Latin tinged houser, ‘Meo Amor’. Perfect for those endless Summer sessions, the samba fuelled percussion sits atop the classic house piano, punching horns and soothing strings while the smooth vocal rounds it off with an irresistible melodic hook.
The Ultimate Club Mix adds a little more urgency to the mix with a more driving bassline and slightly dubby feel, losing the strings and horns to give the elements more space to prepare for the drop!
Andreas returns to the classic house sound in his ‘Old School Vibe’. Breaking out the classic 909 drum sounds, cranking up the bass, and dropping the vocal to the background, allows the piano riff to take over the lead to great effect, creating a powerful, stomping dancefloor destroyer.
Schwarz & Funk take things a little deeper in their mix, replacing the piano part with a snappy, funk-fuelled bassline, smooth guitar licks and an atmospheric muted trumpet, each adding its own unique characteristic to the track, yet maintaining the Latin spirit of the original.
