Details: In December of 2006, Carl Kennedy found himself at the lowest ebb of his life. Reaching for inspiration he came across Roachfords 1994 album Permanent Shade of Blue, and inside that album he found redemption in the form of the hypnotic cut, Ride The Storm. Carl took to the studio and remade the forgotten classic into a house anthem for today, inviting legendary singer/songwriter Andrew Roachford to re-record vocals, completing his journey.

What resulted was pure magic, and the response from the DJ community was instantaneous. The soulful voice and carefully crafted track won the immediate attention of top-tier DJs from Radio 1s Vernon Kay to Axwell, while labels around the world began tripping over themselves to license the track for their territories.

It was then that M.Y.N.C Project took the track into their studio, again with Roachford on hand, and added their own UK vibe to the already electric recording. The artists and labels involved on the project found a way to come together and produce a united front, combining the talents of Pacha Recordings, Cr2, Gut, Wasted Youth and Effin to break out this years true anthem of the summer, Carl Kennedy vs. MYNC Project feat. Roachford - Ride The Storm. Roachford commented Ride The Storm was always intended to be a single when it was recorded. Its great that now the guys have added that extra something that its now been made possible.

Look out for the whopping remix package including remixes from the likes of Danny Howells, Kaz James (Body Rockers), Chris Coco and Rob Da Bank, Alex Gaudino, Leggz & Femi B and a whole supporting cast to produce a sound and a version for every DJ and every room.
