return to Privilege, Ibiza for the summer season 2008
Following the spectacular return of Alex Gold and Xtravaganza to the party island in 2006 after a three year hiatus, Alex Gold’s much-loved Xtravaganza party is set to rip the roof off every Sunday night from July 13th until September 21st re-locating to one of the world’s largest night clubs, Privilege in Ibiza.
With a huge word-of-mouth buzz around his Xtravaganza parties, the island’s most beautiful party people flock to get down to the cosmopolitan House and tech sounds of Alex and his hand-picked 2008 summer session guests on a Sunday night.
2008 has been an amazing year for Alex Gold so far having scored a Beatport Top 10 with his massive “Give It Up/Reaction” tune, and about to helm the Xtravaganza summer season. Every Sunday from July 13th Alex takes control as headline resident of Xtravaganza in the main room of Privilege. He will be supported by a range of rotating DJ’s including DJ Disciple, Pete Gooding, Adri Tur, Alex Miles, and in August special Italian guests including Francesco Farfa.
Alex has re-established Xtravaganza as one of THE island parties, which has seen its crowd grow every year for the last two years. The cosmopolitan and fashionable of Europe’s clubbing elite are choosing Xtravaganza as their preferred club choice to hear the best, chunky electronica and house and techno grooves whilst savouring the exclusive and hedonistic party atmosphere only a club such as Privilege can offer. Privilege has just installed a Function 1 sound system, and cocooned within its decor, Xtravaganza’s Alex Gold is ready to let rip on another amazing season.

Alex will also be working the mix every Sunday from 8pm onwards on the island’s Global Radio station.
Having already scored a Beatport Top 10 with his massive “Reaction/Give It Up” tune, Alex has already played sell out tours in Brazil and South America this year. He is also about to drop a massive chunky tech tune, “Energy Bomb” and is currently remixing the Xtravaganza classic, ‘El Nino’ due for digital release in July.
Alex Gold was the first label head to launch and host his own label branded night, Xtravaganza, in Ibiza. His vision to develop this highly successful club night, has now seen it adopted as a model by the world’s leading labels. A pioneering and original Ibiza party, Xtravaganza is steeped in history with a great record for launching some of the most memorable Ibiza anthems.
Credited as being one of the most long-standing credible and popular nights in Ibiza, Xtravaganza attracts a great party crowd of cosmopolitan clubbers.
