Razorlight Fans ‘Strike Cold’ With Surprise Gig: 09.06.08 |
Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows treated seven lucky fans to a unique 15 minute live acoustic set at Rock Ness festival, prior to the bands headline performance at the event.
The ‘Strike Cold Session’ gig took place in the unusual surroundings of a Carling fridge truck at Carling’s Cold Beer Amnesty. The trucks are normally used to keep the beer on site extra cold, allowing festival goers to exchange any unopened can of warm beer for an ice cold can of Carling. Andy defied the 2c temperature to perform several tracks from his new solo album.
The Carling refrigerated lorry featuring The Wombats will be making an appearance at next weekends Isle Of Wight festival in what can only be described as the coolest
gig of the festival season.
